Key Considerations
- Minimum voltage required at any device is typically 9.0V DC.
- Total segment length (Trunk + all Spurs) should not exceed 1900m for Type A cable.
- Maximum number of devices is typically 32, but is often limited by power consumption.
- Each segment requires exactly two terminators (one at each end of the trunk).
- Spur length limits depend on the number of devices on the segment (e.g., 120m for 1-12 devices). This calculator focuses on the primary voltage drop validation.
