We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you register or use the InstruNexus Simulation App, we collect the following categories of information:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Name, username, email address, password (hashed) | Account creation and authentication |
| Payment data | Subscription plan, payment reference ID, currency, billing date | Subscription management and billing records |
| Device data | Device fingerprint, IP address, browser type, operating system | Device limit enforcement (2 devices per user) |
| Usage data | Pages visited, simulations opened, training progress, login timestamps | Progress tracking and platform improvement |

We do not store full payment card numbers. Payment transactions are processed by our payment gateway provider. We only retain transaction reference IDs and plan metadata.
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
InstruNexus limits each account to a maximum of 2 active devices. To enforce this, we collect a device fingerprint — a non-personally-identifiable hash derived from your browser and system characteristics (screen resolution, user agent, timezone, etc.).
This fingerprint is stored securely in our database linked to your account. It is used solely to identify whether a new login is from an already-registered device or a new one. It cannot be used to identify you outside of InstruNexus, and is not shared with any third party.
If you reach your device limit, you can reset your devices by logging out from an existing device or by using the device reset option in the platform.
